Jamecia began her career as a child and family therapist in the field of mental health in a desire to help families heal and grow. She has years of experience with diverse populations from various backgrounds. She works with individuals, couples, and families both traditional and non-traditional. Jamecia gives great importance to creating an open, safe, and judgement-free space for the self-expression of her clients. Her approach to therapy has been influenced by the use of various cognitive behavioral therapies, attachment theories, and motivational interviewing. Jamecia is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and has worked extensively with trauma survivors.
Jamecia hails from North Carolina and currently enjoys her life in the Pioneer Valley. She values her spirituality, and respects and supports the spiritual journeys of others.
